A Letter to my Addiction
Once upon a time,
All I believed was lies,
But now I know the truth,
Sense of peace,
Open to all that’s new,
But when I close my eyes,
I am reminded of you,
All the hurt you put me through,
Im so much better off without you,
Im moving on, and so should you,
Serenity over comes me,
Im finally becoming who Gods called me to be,
I suppose I should thank you,
Because when I became broken,
I became willing,
I was finally ready for my soul to be renewed,
So Thank you,
Thank you for the pain,
Thank you for the beatings,
Thank you for your lies,
It helped me realize,
I never really loved you.
So this is my Goodbye.
