THE HARD TRUTH ABOUT SEXUAL ASSAULT

60%

HAVEN'T REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE

30%

ARE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL EXPLOITION

7%

DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT

In the United States, roughly every two minutes a woman is being sexually assaulted. (Based on (RAINN) in 2000.)

Out of these women only 37% will report a crime has been commited. This is due to the fact that the majority of the time it was done by a family member, husband, current or old boyfriend, or during a date.

Sex industry/ Rape victims often experience anxiety, guilt, nervousness, phobias, substance abuse, sleep disturbances, depression, alienation, sexual dysfunction, and aggression.

They often distrust others and replay the assault in their minds, and they are at an increased risk of future victimization (DeLahunta 1997).

We give the women healing in these areas. Surrounded by love and empowerment; these Women have their voice restored.
